Is this the right level for my child?
Swerve Select is for advanced Year 9 and Year 10 players aiming for, or already playing in, a professional academy environment. It is not a beginner or intermediate programme. The application and trial help us assess suitability.
When and where do players train?
Wednesdays, 18:30–19:45, from October 2026 at Bede’s Senior School, Upper Dicker, BN27 3QH. Facilities include grass pitches, an all-weather pitch, a sports hall, gym and changing rooms.
What does it cost?
Training is £15 per session, paid as a termly fee. Training kit and away fixtures against professional clubs carry additional charges. The programme runs for at least two terms, with the option to extend into a third.
Can players stay with their current club?
Yes. Swerve Select provides additional development alongside existing club or academy football. Players should consider their existing training and fixture commitments when applying.
Who looks after the players?
Sessions are delivered by experienced coaches. All Swerve Soccer staff must hold an enhanced DBS check before commencing work. View our policies for further information.
